I have always been interested in the human body and medical science, influenced by my German parents who were very open-minded about combining conventional medicines with complementary therapies. Throughout my childhood and adolescence Homeopathy was one of our family’s treatment options for any acute ailments.
During my career as a Consultant and Business Analyst in fast-paced corporate environments, I personally benefited from homeopathic treatment for insomnia and anxiety, both of which had developed into chronic problems. Following that, I decided to use Homeopathy as the primary healthcare treatment for my family, husband and daughter and dog – and to train as a Homeopath.
I have a BSc in Homeopathy from the Centre for Homeopathic Education in London. During my studies I undertook supervised work with patients at the Ainsworth Homeopathic Pharmacy and the Hale Clinic, both in London. My training covered both the classical as well as the practical styles of Homeopathy.
Furing my training, I was fortunate to attend lectures by some of the leading UK Homeopaths including Mike Bridger, Hilery Dorian and Tony Hurley.
Since 2010 I have worked with patients ranging from babies, young children and adolescents to older people – both male and female – who have presented with a wide variety of health conditions.
My treatment and prescription for the patient is based on homeopathic medicines including tinctures and tissue salts. If necessary in a patient’s specific case, I am happy to work closely with other practitioners such as Osteopaths, Psychotherapists or Acupuncturists to ensure that my patients are fully supported in their quest for better health.
I am fully insured and a member of the Society of Homeopaths and therefore belong to a voluntary register that has been accredited by the Professional Standards Authority. The Society of Homeopaths provides a strict Code of Ethics for tis members and Continuing Professional Development.
I am committed to high professional standards, safety and delivering the best possible service. I actively keep up to date with the latest research, news and trends and developments in the sector and health general in order to grow and enhance my knowledge.
